Prosecutor Wants Custody for Man Who Shot Dead Pregnant Woman in Partizanske

Partizanske/Trencin, 2 September (TASR) - A prosecutor of the Trencin Regional Prosecutor's Office has filed a motion with the Trencin District Court to remand in custody J.H. [name abbreviated due to legal reasons] accused of murdering a pregnant woman in Partizanske (Trencin region), prosecutor's office spokesman Marian Sipavy told TASR on Tuesday. The prosecutor wanted escape and preventive custody for J.H., who is being prosecuted for the particularly serious crimes of murder and attempted murder, specified Sipavy. The court will made a decision on the custody as soon as on Tuesday, Trencin Regional Court spokesman Roman Tarabus has told TASR. The man shot dead a 20-year-old pregnant woman in Partizanske on Saturday (30 August), causing injuries also to her 38-year-old partner.
