First Slovak Defence Minister Imrich Andrejcak Passes Away at 77

Bratislava, September 5 (TASR) - Former defence minister of Czechoslovakia (1992) and first Slovak defence minister (1993-94) Imrich Andrejcak passed away at 77 on Wednesday, TASR learnt from Interior Ministry spokesperson Danka Capakova on the same day.
The news was confirmed for the ministry by the late Andrejcak's daughter, Blanka Fetkovicova Andrejcakova.
Defence Minister Peter Gajdos and Chief of Slovak Armed Forces' General Staff Daniel Zmeko sent their condolences to the family and relatives, with the ministry flying a black flag.
Andrejcak served as minister between March 16, 1993 and March 14, 1994.
