Slovak Businesses to Invest in Construction of Serbian Plant and Airport

Bratislava, October 29 (TASR) - Head of the Slovak Council of Exporters Lukas Parizek reported on Friday Slovak companies are set to invest dozens of millions of euros in the construction of a plant for producing aluminium semi-finished products in Serbia and they’ll also participate in building a new airport in the Serbian city of Kragujevac.
According to Parizek, the investments were announced by Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Nikola Selakovic during his official visit to a recent business forum held by the council of exporters.
The forum was attended by almost 20 businesses operating in various industries, including those dealing with metallurgy, engineering, food, cars, weapons and services.
