BRATISLAVA - Bratislava Regional Court judge Dana Jelinkova Dudzikova has reported that she filed a criminal complaint against Justice Minister Maria Kolikova on Wednesday, citing the minister’s claim on the radio in early November that "corrupted judges" are among those who are against the planned reform of the court map.
BRATISLAVA - Most Slovaks would like timber logging in national parks to stop, and at the same time they want a reform that would ensure this, according to a survey conducted by Focus agency for the Slovak ornithological society/BirdLife Slovakia and the 'We Are Forest' initiative between November 16-23 on a sample of 1,005 respondents, TASR has learnt from Marek Kuchta of the initiative.

BRATISLAVA - An educational centre for children of Slovaks could be set up in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Office for Slovaks Living Abroad (USZZ) posted on a social network. It is estimated that there are about 2,000 Slovaks living in the UAE, and their community is the largest in the emirate of Dubai.
BRATISLAVA - As many as one in three Slovaks is significantly feeling the current growth in consumer prices, while an additional 28 percent view the price growth as a problem for their family budget, according to a survey carried out by Ipsos Agency in cooperation with a company called CapitalPanda. Some 64 percent of the respondents are sceptical about future developments. Slovaks expect inflation to grow even further in 2022, devaluing their savings, but they aren't defending themselves against this effectively enough.
