V4 Countries to Help Ukraine Restore Cultural Heritage

Bratislava, June 27 (TASR) - The Visegrad Four (V4) countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) should intensify their cooperation regarding the protection of cultural heritage and act together to support and help restore cultural heritage in Ukraine, Culture Minister Silvia Hroncova declared at a press conference after the conclusion of a two-day meeting of V4 culture ministers on Tuesday. Hroncova announced that a working group will be formed to help protect and restore cultural heritage in Ukraine. "We'll seek measures to help Ukraine in its current situation and to kickstart a recovery in the post-war period," she added. mf/df
