Bratislava, September 22 (TASR) - The 'Blues, Most-Hid' party doesn't plan to withdraw from the parliamentary election, party leader Mikulas Dzurinda told a press conference on Friday.
"The way for Slovakia following the parliamentary election is not resignation, not stepping down, but the exact opposite. The way for Slovakia is the mobilisation of Slovak citizens," stressed Dzurinda, adding that there's a need to appeal especially to those who want to vote but don't yet know who to choose, and to disappointed voters of OLANO, SaS and 'We Are Family'.
According to him, the Progressive Slovakia, KDH and 'Blues, Most-Hid' parties offer new energy and experience. This line-up would be able not only to cooperate but also to produce positive results.
SaS leader Richard Sulik on Thursday (September 21) drew attention to the fact that a large number of the votes of democratic voters, which may be crucial in the formation of the next government, could be lost. If parties decide to withdraw from the fight, he declared readiness on behalf of SaS to hold talks with them following the election on the manifesto and on personnel nominations.
