Bratislava, March 24 (TASR) - If the governing coalition is to continue, all its voters must come to the polling stations in round two of the presidential election, said Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok (Voice-SD) on TA3's discussion programme 'V politike' (In Politics) on Sunday, reiterating that Peter Pellegrini is the best candidate and Ivan Korcok's election would mean the beginning of a split in the governing coalition. His opponent on the show, Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) leader Branislav Groehling, called the run-off round of the presidential election 'a small general election'. Sutaj Estok said that the governing coalition will make use of the upcoming two weeks to mobilise all coalition voters. It also wants to focus on regions in which Ivan Korcok won in the first election round. It intends to fight for the support of every voter, including ethnic-Hungarians. Groehling finds it important for Korcok to address ethnic-Hungarian voters as well so that citizens of this minority can also express their opinion. Groehling expects a massive disinformation campaign against Korcok to be waged in the upcoming period. Therefore, his side will have to explain a lot and fight against attempts to mislead the public. The interior minister reacted by saying the coalition side will only speak more about who Korcok is. He stressed that it won't have to fabricate anything and will only call a spade a spade. According to Sutaj Estok, it was expected that the favourites would advance to the second election round. He expressed his satisfaction that Pellegrini will fight for the presidential post in round two as well. Groehling stated that his side expected Korcok to make it to the run-off round, calling this a signal that people do care about who will stand at the helm of Slovakia. ko/df
