Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko Visits Bratislava, Thanks for Its Support

Bratislava, April 9 (TASR) - Mayor of the Ukrainian city of Kiev Vitali Klitschko visited Bratislava on Tuesday, Bratislava mayor Matus Vallo posted on the social network on the same day. In addition to other things, Klitschko came to the Slovak capital to thank for its support. "It's inspiring to see how his balance and hope don't leave him even in the most difficult moments," stated Vallo. Vallo mentioned that Bratislava donated buses to Kiev last year. "These were decommissioned Irisbus Citelis buses that we would no longer use in the streets of Bratislava, but they are now useful in Ukraine, where people, as well as basic infrastructure suffer from the war," noted the Bratislava mayor. Klitschko has posted on a social network that he spoke with the mayor of Bratislava about further support and aid to Ukraine and Kiev. At the same time, he thanked Bratislava and Slovakia for its humanitarian and financial aid. ko/mcs
