Jurinova: Construction on Last Three D3 Sections to Start by End of 2025

Zilina, July 2 (TASR) - Construction on all three missing stretches of the Kysuce section of the D3 motorway will start by the end of 2025, head of Zilina region Erika Jurinova posted on a social network on Tuesday following a meeting of the working group on the D3 motorway completion at the Transport Ministry. "The sections Zilina, Brodno - Kysucke Nove Mesto and Kysucke Nove Mesto - Oscadnica will start to be built at the same time with a planned start in September 2025 and completion in March 2029. The construction of the Oscadnica - Cadca, Bukov section with the second tunnel tube in the Horelica tunnel will start in March 2025 with a planned completion in October 2029," said Jurinova on the basis of information from the representatives of the National Highway Company (NDS). The Zilina governor added that all three sections represent a key construction, the completion of which will give a strong impetus to the further development of the whole region. am/mcs
