Prime Minister Fico Attends Government Session for First Time Since Shooting

Bratislava, July 9 (TASR) - Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) has just arrived for his first session of the government since he was shot on May 15, TASR learnt on Tuesday. According to the session's agenda, the government will deal with meeting targets in the Recovery Plan and drawing EU funds. Prime Minister Fico was shot after an away-from-home government session in the village of Handlova on May 15. The shooter caused him multiple serious injuries. Earlier this week, Fico took part in a commemoration of the arrival of 9th-century Byzantine missionaries Cyril and Methodius and observed the harvest in a farm field. mf/df
