Bratislava, September 16 (TASR) - The water level of the Danube in Bratislava has risen past 900 cm, with several locations in the Old Town Centre flooded, Bratislava Region (BSK) reported on its website on Monday. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Office (SHMU) confirmed that the level of the Danube in the capital city stood at 908 cm at 10.45 a.m. "The Tyrsovo Nabrezie waterfront area as well as the promenade near a shopping centre on the bank of the Danube and the Fajnorovo Nabrezie waterfront are flooded," stated BSK.
