Krajcir: Flood Damage in Bratislava Devinska Nova Ves Estimated at €112 Mn

Bratislava, September 21 (TASR) - Damages caused by floods in the Bratislava borough of Devinska Nova Ves, one of the zones hit worst by the natural disaster, but also subsequent works to remove debris, are estimated to cost €112 million, Devinska Nova Ves mayor Darius Krajcir told TASR on Saturday. "That's a gross estimate, but the most conservative non-optimistic one, based on real figures. The estimated sum is so extremely high because it includes the property of the capital city, the property of the state but also the property of individuals and legal entities damaged by the floods," said Krajcir. mf
