Blanar: Path to Peace Leads Through Diplomatic Talks

Bratislava, September 21 (TASR) - Peace and freedom are precious values, which must be continuously promoted in the context of ongoing military conflicts in the world, Foreign and European Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD) declared on Saturday to mark the International Day of Peace. Blanar underlined that the path to peace leads through diplomatic negotiations. "History has taught us a long time ago that wars don't end on battlefields but around negotiating tables. It's necessary to stop useless loss of life and damage to property not just during this one day, but to seek sustainable and permanent solutions to conflicts always," added Blanar. mf
