Bratislava, September 25 (TASR) - Progressive Slovakia (MP) Lucia Plavakova was expelled from the Parliament chamber because of stickers on her laptop once again on Wednesday, this time by House Vice-chair Tibor Gaspar (Smer-SD). Gaspar suspended the ongoing session of Parliament, adding that he expects House Vice-chair Peter Ziga (Voice-SD) to convene a meeting of the heads of the parliamentary caucuses to address the situation. Plavakova filed an appeal against the decision. Earlier in the day, House Vice-chair Andrej Danko (SNS) expelled Plavakova from the chamber because he was of the opinion that stickers on her laptop, which included symbols supporting the LGBTI community, were an advertisement, which is against the parliamentary Rules of Procedure. Plavakova, however, filed a motion against the decision, with MPs upholding her complaint in a vote. Plavakova's complaint was upheld by other opposition MPs, but also MPs from the coalition Voice-SD party. Only MPs from Smer-SD and SNS voted against. zel
