Ziga: Huliak to be Disciplined by House Mandate Committee

Bratislava, September 26 (TASR) - Statements of MP Rudolf Huliak (SNS) as well as Jozef Procko ('Slovakia) will be addressed by the House Mandate Committee, Peter Ziga (Voice-SD), the House Vice-chair who's tasked with heading Parliament temporarily, announced on Thursday. Ziga also extended an apology to all women offended by Huliak's statement, adding that Huliak should apologise as well. The disciplinary proceedings against Huliak were initiated by MP Gabor Grendel ('Slovakia'), seeing as Huliak had made his insulting and vulgar statements against opposition MP Lucia Plavakova (PS) in the Chamber. The disciplinary proceedings against Procko was initiated by MP Tibor Gaspar (Smer-SD) over Procko calling coalition lawmakers 'thieves and mobsters'. Ziga called on voters to consider during the next election whether they really wish to see such a "ruckus" in Parliament and undignified behaviour towards women. mf/mcs
