Bratislava, October 1 (TASR) - The Voice-SD party hopes that MPs, who are members of the extra-parliamentary 'National Coalition/Independent Candidates' party will remain a solid part of the governing coalition, party's caucus head Robert Puci stated on Tuesday in response to the fact that National Coalition lawmakers, who are in Parliament on behalf of the Slovak National Party (SNS), are demanding to add 'National Coalition' to the name of the SNS caucus. "My perception is that this platform will probably support the Voice-SD party more, which we're happy about, since they want to support our candidate for the House chair," Puci told reporters on Tuesday, adding that Voice-SD continues to insist that the post belongs to them. He reiterated that the issue of the new parliamentary head will only be raised after all three coalition parties have agreed. Puci pointed out that the coalition agreement speaks of such a procedure and he fears that the opposition wouldn't support the Voice-SD candidate. Puci doesn't think that National Coalition members would leave the coalition if their request to change the name of the SNS caucus didn't pass. "I think that MP Rudolf Huliak said what he wanted to say, that everybody in Slovakia registered it, that this caucus isn't just about SNS, but about several MPs and several parties and let it continue to work the way it is supposed to work," he added, rejecting claims that Voice-SD bought the MPs working in National Coalition. am/mcs
