Slovakia Party Calls on Pellegrini Not to Delay Replacement of Dolinkova

Bratislava, October 7 (TASR) - The opposition Slovakia party has called on President Peter Pellegrini not to delay the replacing of Health Minister Zuzana Dolinkova (Voice-SD), asking the president to present a new health minister as soon as possible. "Health care is collapsing, state hospitals are falling apart, health workers are resigning because they do not have good conditions and President Pellegrini is pretending that he will wait [with accepting Dolinkova's resignation]," said Slovakia party MP Michal Sipos. "We call on Peter Pellegrini... to finally present to the public a health minister who will not serve financial groups, but patients," noted Sipos. Dolinkova announced last week that she was resigning, adding that she was planning to submit her resignation to President Peter Pellegrini in a short time. Pellegrini said at the weekend that he won't accept Dolinkova's resignation until the premier presents an appropriate replacement. zel/mcs
