Government to Hold Away-from-home Session in Modra

Bratislava, October 9 (TASR) - The government on Wednesday is set to hold an away-from-home session in the town of Modra in Bratislava region to discuss the socio-economic situation and selected issues concerning Malacky and Pezinok districts. The redistribution of the proceeds from the auctioning of emission allowances will also be a topic of discussion. The Environmental Fund will have more than €284 million available from these sources next year. After the session, the Agriculture and Environment Ministries will sign a memorandum of cooperation in the field of science, research, education and support for the viticulture, wine and fruit sector in Slovakia with representatives of local governments, the academic sector and research into agriculture and food. zel/df
