Sulovce: Village Warns Inhabitants and Tourists of Bear

Sulovce/Bratislava, October 9 (TASR) - The village of Sulovce (Nitra region) warned its inhabitants on Wednesday that the presence of a bear was spotted near the village limits. "The bear might be encountered in the Tribec mountain range and in the vicinity of the Oponice Castle, popular among tourists," warned the local authority on its website. The village representatives ask people to reconsider any tourist plans in the area. "If you are in the woods, exercise increased caution and follow recommended safety measures," reads the text. mf
