BRIEF: Gov't Passes Next Year's Budget, Deficit Should Drop to 4.7% of GDP

Bratislava, October 15 (TASR) - The general government deficit should drop to 4.7 percent of GDP next year, 3.7 percent of GDP in 2026 and 3 percent of GDP in 2027, according to the draft budget of the public administration for 2025-2027 approved by the government on Tuesday. The government is supposed to submit the draft budget to Parliament every year by October 15. Parliament usually decides on it at its last regular session at the turn of November and December.
