SNS Welcomes Munko Joining its Caucus

Bratislava, October 23 (TASR) - The coalition Slovak National Party (SNS) welcomes the decision by Smer-SD MP Dusan Munko to join the SNS parliamentary caucus, SNS chair Andrej Danko declared at a press conference on Wednesday. Danko thus considers the situation that emerged after Rudolf Huliak, Ivan Sevcik and Pavol Luptak left the SNS caucus to be resolved. "I appreciate the approach by the Smer-SD caucus to SNS. We hold the cooperation with Smer-SD in incredible esteem, today also with our new colleague Munko, who's a seasoned entrepreneur and experienced legislator," said Danko. In Danko's view, the coalition has now been stabilised. "The problem of Slovakia is not whether or not the caucus is preserved. The problem of Slovakia would have been if the coalition had counted on fewer than 76 lawmakers and we still have them." mf/mcs
