USZZ Receives Almost 900 Applications under Subsidy Call for 2025

Bratislava, November 5 (TASR) - The Office for Slovaks Living Abroad (USZZ) has received 896 applications for subsidies to support the activities of expatriate communities in 2025, the office has announced on its website following the conclusion of a subsidy call. Before it starts assessing the applications, the office will check whether or not they meet formal requirements, and if they are incomplete, it will ask the applicants to provide more detail. Slovaks living abroad were able to apply for subsidies for their activities in the field of culture, education, information projects and the media. Following the subsidy call for 2024, USZZ received 847 applications, supporting 562 of them. The total sum that it distributed among the successful applicants was just over €1.785 million. ko/df
