Bratislava, November 6 (TASR) - House Vice-chair Peter Ziga (Voice-SD), who's currently in charge of Parliament, noted on Wednesday that he believes that the USA and Slovakia will maintain good relations under the presidency of Donald Trump. "I congratulate Donald Trump on his re-election in a free democratic vote. There is a great story behind him of a man who has had to overcome many obstacles, including an assassination attempt. The USA is an important ally of Slovakia," noted Ziga, as cited by the Parliament Office. Republican Party candidate Donald Trump declared himself the winner of the presidential election in the USA on Wednesday night local time. Of the major US media, only Fox News considers him to be a certain winner as things stand, although other media outlets have admitted that he is likely to defeat the Democratic Party's candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris, in the election. A candidate needs at least 270 Electoral College votes to be elected. According to news agency Associated Press (AP), Trump has secured 267 so far, while Harris has only 224. zel/df
