Zilina Region: Woman Killed in Bus Crash

Parnica/Bratislava, November 13 (TASR) - A woman was killed when a bus collided with a car on a road between the villages of Zazriva and Parnica (Zilina region) on Wednesday morning, TASR learnt from Andrej Hirjak of the Emergency Medical Service Operational Centre on the same day. "When we arrived at the scene of the crash, first aid was administered to three individuals who were subsequently rushed to the Central Military Hospital in Ruzomberok and the hospital in Dolny Kubin. Despite a prompt first response, one individual was declared dead due to the fatal injuries that she had sustained," stated Hirjak. The accident occurred on the II/583 road at 5 a.m. in the morning. The road was closed to traffic for a short period. mf/df
