Bratislava, November 13 (TASR) - The government will allocate almost €3.3 million to regions affected by natural disasters to cover the costs of clearing up the damage, according to a proposal approved by the cabinet on Wednesday.
The bulk of the money (over €2.7 million) will go to Humenne and Stropkov districts (Presov region), which were hit by earthquakes back in October 2023. The rest of the resources will be funneled into regions affected by strong winds, landslides, fires, toxic spills and problems caused by bridges in severe states of disrepair.
