CORRECTION: Local Authorities to Receive €78 Mn for Projects

TASR released a story earlier in the day in which it mistakenly stated in the headline and in the first sentence that "local authorities will be given money for projects aimed at building water-management infrastructure and thermal cladding of public buildings, with more than €111 million of the Environmental Fund set to be distributed among 178 projects put forth by towns and villages". In fact, the sum budgeted in the Environmental Fund is €78 million and not €111 million. We apologise for this error. The incorrect information was provided by the Environment Ministry. The corrected story is as follows: Bratislava, November 15 (TASR) - Local authorities will be given money for projects aimed at building water-management infrastructure and thermal cladding of public buildings, with more than €78 million of the Environmental Fund set to be distributed among 178 projects put forth by towns and villages, TASR learnt from the Environment Ministry's press department on Friday. "Every applicant who meets the prerequisites will receive financial resources for their project. That is enormous progress in comparison to the previous period, when €430 million was squandered by the Environment Ministry," said Environment Minister Tomas Taraba (SNS nominee). mf/mcs
