Blanar to Visit Switzerland on Tuesday

Bratislava, November 19 (TASR) - Foreign Affairs Minister Juraj Blanar (Smer-SD) is set to depart for Switzerland on Tuesday at the invitation of his counterpart Ignazio Cassis, TASR has learnt from the Foreign Affairs Ministry. In addition to the bilateral meeting with Cassis, the head of Slovak diplomacy will also meet head of the National Council, i.e. the lower chamber of the Swiss Parliament, Eric Nussbaumer. The main topics of the bilateral meetings will be developing cooperation in the economic and innovation spheres. The partners will also focus on relations between the EU and Switzerland and the current situation in Ukraine and the Middle East. Blanar and Cassis will discuss current geopolitical issues with students at the University of Freiburg. zel/df
