Sasko Holds Talks with Representatives of Health Insurers

Bratislava, November 20 (TASR) - Health Minister Kamil Sasko (Voice-SD) held a roundtable with representatives of health insurers on Wednesday to discuss the financing of the health sector, hospital efficiency, the standing of the outpatient sector and patients' views on access to health care and its quality, TASR learnt from Sasko's post on a social network on the same day. "Health insurers form the backbone of our health system - they provide services to support health and pay for the health care when we're ill. Their efficient operation is crucial for the proper access to and quality of health care for all citizens," said the minister. mf/mcs
