Most Translated Slovak Novel Now Available in French

Paris, November 24 (TASR) - Writer Jozef Banas' fiction "The Zone of Enthusiasm", the most translated Slovak novel, is now also available in French, with French publishing house Le Lys Bleu officially releasing the title at the Slovak Embassy in Paris on Friday, the embassy has reported on its website. France has thus become the thirteenth country in which the novel has been published. Banas confirmed to TASR that the godfather of the French translation is former French politician Pierre Lellouche. "I look at the Eiffel Tower and wonder if it's a dream or reality. Le Lys Bleu is a renowned Parisian publishing house and I'm pleased that I have made Slovakia a bit more visible again," Banas said about the release of the French translation of the book. zel
