Foreign Ministry: Three Slovaks on Board of Sunken Ship Off Egyptian Coast

Bratislava, November 25 (TASR) - Three Slovaks were on board a cruise ship that sank in the Red Sea near the Egyptian coast on Monday, TASR was told by the Foreign and European Affairs Ministry's communication department on the same day. The Slovak ministry referred to official information from Egypt and added that it remains in contact with the relevant authorities through the embassy in Cairo. Sea Story cruise ship sank in the Red Sea on Monday with 45 people on board, most of them tourists. According to local media, the crew sent out a distress call in the early hours of Monday. Contact with the ship was subsequently interrupted and it also disappeared from radars. The local authorities reported that several people have been rescued so far. am
