Stats: Consumer Prices Up 2.9 percent Y-o-Y for Pensioner Households in October

Bratislava, October 26 (TASR) - Consumer prices in Slovakia went up by 3.1 percent year-on-year (y-o-y) in October, the Statistics Office reported on Tuesday.
In terms of household categories, the households of employees recorded y-o-y growth in prices of 3.2 percent, while low-income earners saw a hike of of 3.3 percent and pensioners one of 2.9 percent.
In the first ten months of this year, meanwhile, consumer prices grew by 2.7 percent y-o-y. In particular, inflation for the households of employees amounted to 2.8 percent, while low-income earners saw 2.7 percent and pensioner households 2.1 percent.
