Bratislava, November 26 (TASR) - No crime or misdemeanour was committed by an e-petition calling for the resignation of Culture Minister Martina Simkovicova (a Slovak National Party/SNS nominee), TASR has learnt from Bratislava Regional Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Gabriela Kovacova. A criminal complaint related to the internet petition calling for Simkovicova's resignation was filed by general secretary of the ministry's service office Lukas Machala. "A prosecutor of Bratislava I District Prosecutor's Office turned down Lukas Machala's complaint against the repeated rejection of his criminal motion regarding the suspicion that a crime had been committed by unauthorised access to a computer system in line with the Penal Code," said Kovacova. Even after all evidence had been gathered, it was found that no crime or misdemeanour was committed when publishing the petition. The verdict is final and valid. Machala when filing the criminal complaint pointed to suspicions of manipulation and that the identity and number of signatories to the e-petition had been falsified. ko/df
