Parliament Adjourns Vote on Sport Ministry-sponsored Laws Until Next Week

Bratislava, November 28 (TASR) - Parliament will vote on government law amendments sponsored by the Tourism and Sport Ministry next Thursday (December 5), as MPs approved a proposal to this effect based on an agreement between coalition parties Smer-SD, Voice-SD and the Slovak National Party (SNS) on Thursday. This applies to an amendment to the law on the Sport Support Fund and the law on sport. The House should have voted on them on Wednesday (November 27), but there weren't enough MPs (less than 76) present in the chamber before the vote. MP Samuel Migal (Voice-SD) didn't present himself for the given vote. He objected to the fact that his amending proposal to an amendment to the law on sports was rejected.
