Police Corps Presidium Denies Chief Solak Is Leaving Office

Bratislava, November 28 (TASR) - The Police Corps Presidium has denied claims that police chief Lubomir Solak is leaving office, the Police Corps Presidium's communications department told TASR on Thursday in response to the statements made by MP Martina Bajo Holeckova (Independent). "This is again false information," said the department. The MP posted on a social network on Thursday that, according to her information, Solak was about to quit his job and apply for retirement. She added that Branislav Zurian, the current head of the Interior Ministry's Inspection Service Office (UIS), was set to become the new Police Corps president. am/df
