Bratislava, December 3 (TASR) - Opposition MPs have objected to the postponement of a no-confidence vote in Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok (Voice-SD) until February, announcing that they will again submit a no-confidence motion in the head of the Interior Ministry, TASR learnt on Tuesday. "I can confirm at this point that we'll submit a motion to oust the minister again on Tuesday. We'll then evaluate how we'll proceed in the following weeks," said Progressive Slovakia (PS) parliamentary caucus head Martin Dubeci, criticising Sutaj Estok for not being able to find time to defend himself in the House. The Christian Democrats (KDH) have also confirmed that they will again submit a motion to dismiss Sutaj Estok. They don't agree with postponing the no-confidence vote to the next regular session set to be held in February. "It worries me that the minister didn't come on Tuesday," said MP and Christian Democrats leader Milan Majersky. MPs from the 'Slovakia, For the People, KU' caucus also declared their willingness to sign a motion to dismiss Sutaj Estok. "We're always ready for cooperation. You must ask the other opposition MPs why they ignore our signatures," MP Julius Jakab (Slovakia, For the People, KU) told journalists. The second attempt on Tuesday to open a special House session with a no-confidence motion in Sutaj Estok as the sole point on the agenda failed, as Parliament was again inquorate, with only 58 legislators present. MPs will again try to dismiss the interior minister at the next regular House session, scheduled for February. am/df
