Bratislava, December 3 (TASR) - Opposition lawmakers from Progressive Slovakia (PS), Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) and the Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) submitted yet another proposal on Tuesday to hold a no-confidence motion in Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok (Voice-SD), which means that an emergency special session of Parliament must be convened within seven days.
The opposition signalled this move in protest at the coalition's decision to adjourn the original no-confidence motion until February 2025.
"We decided, once again, to submit yet another proposal to oust Interior Minister Sutaj Estok because the reasons we've written down still apply. There are thirteen such reasons and they're rather grave. We find it really important to have them deliberated on by Parliament," stated MP Juraj Krupa (SaS).
