Bratislava, December 11 (TASR) - The state-owned VsZP health insurer was delivered a decision by the Office for the Supervision of Health Care (UDZS) on Tuesday (December 10) to stop the proceedings that required VsZP to submit a recovery plan, TASR learnt from VsZP spokesperson Marianna Bublava on Wednesday. According to Bublava, UDZS assessed that the risk of putting health provision system in jeopardy has passed. "It follows from the UDZS decision that VsZP has improved its financial situation to such an extent, that on the day the decision was issued the legal prerequisites required for ordering the submitting of a recovery plan were no longer present," said Bublava. VsZP welcomes the decision. "We're glad that arguments we tabled in the summer have proved to be relevant and all indicators feasible," declared Bublava, adding that VsZP managed to accomplish this improvement through optimising its processes, streamlining the management and putting more emphasis on efficiency. mf
