Bratislava, December 20 (TASR) - Refunding of the costs of outpatient and dental emergencies from the public health insurance scheme will increase next year, according to an amendment to the government directive approved by the Cabinet on Friday. The government explained that there is a need to provide adequate financial coverage of justified costs for the given providers so that they can carry out their role to the required quality and at an appropriate level. It pointed out that the wage costs of emergency medical care providers will increase as of next year as a result of an increase in nurses' salaries. The directive should take effect as of January 1, 2025. ko/df
