Police Launch Investigation into Morning Explosion of ATM Machine in Besenova

Besenova, December 25 (TASR) - The police have launched investigation into the case of an ATM machine's explosion that took place in the village of Besenova (Zilina region) on Wednesday morning, Zilina regional police spokeswoman Zuzana Sefcikova informed TASR on the same day. According to Sefcikova, the police received a report on the damage caused to the ATM machine in early morning hours. "Police officers who were sent to the crime scene found out that it had exploded. A pyrotechnic specialist of the Zilina Regional Police Directorate and experts from Police Corps' Criminalistics and Expertise Institute in Bratislava were summoned to the site as well," said Sefcikova. An investigator of the District Police Directorate in Ruzomberok (Zilina region) has taken over the case. "We will provide more details on the case as soon as the procedural situation allows it," added Sefcikova. ko
