Traffic Accident in Presov Region Claims Two Lives, Four Injured

Kobyly/Bratislava, December 26 (TASR) - A serious traffic accident on Thursday near the village of Kobyly (Presov region) claimed two lives, with four other individuals suffering lighter injuries, TASR learnt from the Emergency Medical Service operation centre on the same day. According to the police, the crash involved two cars. A driver, 70, of one of the cars and his female passenger, 72, died in the collision. The other car was driven by a 22-year-old woman, whose breathalyser test turned out negative. "A police investigator in Bardejov launched a criminal prosecution over manslaughter; the circumstances are under investigation," TASR was told by Presov regional police spokesperson Jana Ligdayova. mf
