Train Hits Man Between Puchov and Ladce, Several Trains Delayed

Bratislava/Puchov, January 3 (TASR) - Several trains on the Puchov (Zilina region)-Bratislava route are running significantly late due to an accident in which a train hit a person between Puchov and the village of Ladce on Friday, ZSSK passenger carrier has reported on a social network, adding that rail services at Topolcany station (Nitra region) have been suspended due to the accident as well.
ZSSK announced that the rail service between Puchov and Ladce was resumed at 3 p.m., while services at Topolcany station are still suspended.
ZSSK notified passengers that the delays amount to tens of minutes. The Os 3321 passenger train that regularly departs from Ladce at 4 p.m. was more than 80 minutes late, while some trains have been cancelled.
