Bratislava Christmas Celebrations End on Monday with Epiphany Procession

Bratislava, January 6 (TASR) - The programme of the Bratislava Christmas celebrations ended on Monday with an Epiphany procession through the Old Town, Bratislava municipality has announced on its website. Since the end of November the celebrations have included Christmas markets, a cultural programme and rides on a Christmas tram. "The streets of the Old Town and several other quarters of the city were filled with the Christmas spirit. In addition to the programme's main organiser, the Bratislava Cultural and Information Centre (BKIS), 14 city quarters and several municipal organisations participated in the programme as well," BKIS has posted on its website. The Bratislava Christmas was officially launched by the lighting of the Christmas tree in the city centre on November 21, 2024. ko/df
