Danko Wants His Visit to Russia to Follow up Meeting between Fico and Putin

Bratislava, January 8 (TASR) - I want my visit to Russia to follow up on the meeting between Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) and Russian President Vladimir Putin in December, Parliamentary Vice-Chair Andrej Danko (SNS) stated at a press briefing in Samorin (Trnava region) on Wednesday. "It's important to take in information at a parliamentary level. I want to bring a lot of information on the economy," said Danko, adding that MPs are also due to meet with the Russian vice-premier and the industry minister. Danko, along with Smer-SD and SNS MPs, is due to travel to Moscow in the next few days. He wants to pay for the journey out of his own money. The SNS leader has an official invitation from the Russian State Duma chairman to visit Russia. am/mcs
