Galko Becomes Member of Presidium of Democrats Party

Bratislava, January 8 (TASR) - MP Lubomir Galko (Independent) has become a member of the presidium of the extra-parliamentary Democrats party, TASR was told by party's spokeswoman Martina Kakascikova on Wednesday. The Democrats now also have new regional chairpersons. Galko was a member of the Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) party in the past. After the parliamentary election in autumn 2023, he became an MP and joined the 'Slovakia', 'For the People', KU caucus. He left the caucus in September 2024 and announced his cooperation with the Democrats. am/mcs
