Bratislava, January 13 (TASR) - The Voice-SD party will continue to meet commitments anchored in the Government Manifesto in 2025, but also wishes to open a discussion with coalition partners on the strengthening of social rights and the standing of regions, as well as introduce a change in the election system, Voice-SD chair Matus Sutaj Estok announced at a press conference on Voice-SD's 2025 goals held on Monday.
Sutaj Estok underlined that his party bears responsibility for key ministries and the Recovery Plan. "I dare to say that results of the work of my colleagues are most tangible in everyday life," he stated.
Sutaj Estok emphasised that Voice-SD perceives Slovakia as being firmly anchored in the EU and NATO, but also promotes Slovakia as a self-confident state, able to protect its own national interests and acting as an open and active partner within the Euro-Atlantic organisations.
He pointed out that the party espouses dialogue, necessary also due to the diversity of opinions within its ranks. As for the debate on the leadership change of Voice-SD parliamentary caucus, he declared: "That's an internal affair and we will deal with it internally."
In addition, the Voice-SD chair touched on the planned trip of three Voice-SD lawmakers to Kiev and voiced hope it will be meaningful for Slovakia.
