Bratislava, January 15 (TASR) - The average inflation rate for the whole of 2024 amounted to 2.8 percent, falling below 3 percent following two years of extremely high double-digit figures, the Statistics Office reported on Wednesday. The year-on-year (y-o-y) pace of price growth slowed down at the most significant rate in the past 25 years, as annual inflation stood at 10.5 percent in 2023, and reached as high as 12.8 percent in 2022.
