Land Registry Departments in Another Ten Districts to Resume Work as of Thursday

Bratislava, January 16 (TASR) - Land registry departments in another ten districts will reopen as of Thursday, Interior Ministry spokesman Matej Neumann has informed TASR. The land registry departments in question are based in Prievidza (Trencin region), Bytca, Martin, Dolny Kubin, Kysucke Nove Mesto, Zilina (all five Zilina region), Vranov nad Toplou, Stropkov, Levoca and Humenne (all four Presov region). "They will only provide services for districts within their territorial jurisdiction. Land registry departments at other district offices will gradually start operating again as well," added Neumann. Land registry departments have been gradually reopening since Monday (January 13). Land registry departments were temporarily closed in recent days due to a large-scale cyber-attack from abroad that hit their information system. ko/df
