Police: Knife Attacker from Secondary School in Presov Region Still at Large

Bratislava, January 16 (TASR) - The youth who carried out a knife attack at a secondary grammar school in the town of Spisska Stara Ves (Presov region) in which two people have been reported killed is currently on the run, the police in Presov region posted on a social network on Thursday. Police are warning people that if they spot the 18-year-old young man, they should not approach him or try to detain him, but should call the number 158 immediately. "From the information gathered so far, he used a knife to assault a teacher as well as two of his classmates. All emergency forces are at the scene and are working intensively on the case," said the police, adding that they'll provide further information on the incident later. am/df
