Lipavsky: Tragedy in Slovakia Shook Me, Cruelty Must Have No Place in Society

Prague, January 16 (TASR-correspondent) - The tragedy that took place on Thursday at a grammar school in the town of Spisska Stara Ves (Presov region) affects everyone and confirms that cruelty must have no place in society, TASR has learnt from the post of Czech Foreign Affairs Minister Jan Lipavsky on a social network.
"I was shaken by the sad news of the tragic attack in neighbouring Slovakia. This brutal act touches us all and confirms that cruelty must have no place in our society. I think of the loved ones and families of the victims, I think of the whole of Slovakia," wrote Lipavsky.
Two people are reported dead after a knife attack at a secondary grammar school in the town of Spisska Stara Ves in Presov region. The Emergency Medical Service Operational Centre also confirmed that one patient is in critical condition. The number of other people injured hasn't been established yet. The police have already arrested an 18-year-old student suspected of committing the serious crime.
