Drienovec Traffic Accident: Eight People Rushed to Hospital

Kosice/Bratislava, January 17 (TASR) - Eight individuals were rushed into a hospital in the wake of a traffic accident in Drienovec (Kosice region), TASR learnt from Kosice regional spokesperson Jana Mesarova on Friday. Police officers are currently at the crash site and are rerouting traffic through the village of Drienovec. Mesarova asked drivers to follow the instructions of the police. A serious traffic accident occurred on Friday around 5.30 p.m. on the I/16 road. According to preliminary information from firefighters and first-aid responders, five people were originally thought to be injured, including children. mf/mcs
